Open, because trust should be verifiable.

What's open

The whole client: interface, providers, storage, tests and tools. Neruna Cloud and Control aren't public for now – how the client talks to them is in the open code.

Contributing

Report bugs, improve translations, contribute code. Code contributions come with a short contributor agreement (CLA).

Build it yourself

With the .NET 10 SDK, Neruna starts with sample data – no account needed:

git clone https://github.com/NerunaMail/NerunaDesktop.git
cd NerunaDesktop
dotnet run --project src/Client/Neruna.Desktop -- --demo

Roadmap

What's next.

Planned Planned

  • Mail to the admins when a device waits for approval
  • Calendar sharing per group
  • Neruna Control: everything on your own server
  • Signed Windows installer

Later Ideas

  • Linux and macOS packages
  • Exchange (EWS) as another provider
  • Organisation-wide address book

The roadmap is a plan, not a promise – order and scope may change.
